Renew Wellbeing

Our Renew Wellbeing sessions takes place every Thursday from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. It’s a friendly and inviting place where you can take part in various activities, like crafts, or simply relax and have a chat.

You can suggest activities, share your interests, pick up new skills, make connections, or ask for help if you need it.

The afternoons are about finding some inner peace and exploring practices like prayer and meditation, no matter your faith or beliefs. It’s a welcoming place to combat loneliness and address mental and emotional well-being.

We would love you to join us for some quality time and self-care!  Renew Wellbeing is free of charge and includes refreshments  You don’t need to book in but are very welcome to pop in when you like.   If you would like to ask questions or find anymore information, please contact us.

The Well Walk

The Well Walk happens every Wednesday from 12pm – 1pm.  We meet at The Well before doing a gentle 20-30 minute walk followed by free refreshments.  Its a great chance to get outside, enjoy the fresh air and to meet new people.

Everyone over 18yrs old is welcome to join us but unfortunately we are not allowed to have dogs in the building.

Welcome Spaces

Wellcome Spaces was launched by Farnworth Baptist Church as part of the Bolton Every Mind Matters campaign. We wanted to create easy opportunities for people to connect with others on a regular basis to help people that may be feeling lonely or isolated. We have partnered with different charities, churches and other organisations that organise activities on different days of the week and all with a view to help people in the following ways:-
  • to meet new friends
  • to find ways to improve mental health/wellbeing
  • to reduce feelings of loneliness
  • to have fun and feel happier
Please contact Dilly on 01204 861671 to find out what Wellcome Spaces are open.

Peer Support Groups

We know that life can be tough for those dealing with long-term health issues/disabilities and their caregivers, especially when you may also be struggling with finance and debt.  It can really affect your mental wellbeing.

We’ve created these peer support groups where you can meet up, share your stories, and help each other out – no formalities, just genuine support.

Through our peer support groups we want to do the following:-

  • Help people support each other emotionally and build a sense of community
  • Organise monthly social events
  • Provide advice and help on welfare benefits including Universal Credit when you have limited work capacity
  • Support and advice on looking for work

We have two groups that meet each week at The Well:

Tuesdays: 2.30pm – 3.30pm & Fridays: 10.30am – 11.30am

You are welcome to attend either group without contacting beforehand.  However, please telephone contact Carlene if you have any questions or would like further information.
