Building Community!

The Message Trust support our team working in the Flowers estate and Campbell Street area – to live sacrificially, share the gospel and build authentic community.

We live and do life with our neighbours, sharing the good news of Jesus in word and deed and creating a deep sense of community. Our team supports Farnworth Baptist Church with youth ministry, community projects, gospel outreach and discipleship, all while living within the community.

As people are encouraged and mentored in the area, and as our teams come alongside struggling families, the atmosphere changes, leaders are raised and communities are changed for good. We are privileged to be a part of bringing transformation to communities from the inside out.

All of our team live in the local area, so they share a common concern about the local area. We don’t believe in doing things to the local community but working with it for the long term benefit. We get involved in a wide range of activities including litter picking, community events and building relationships.
