John Bradbury
He is passionate about seeing people transformed by the love of Jesus and to go on to bring transformation to their communities; equipping and releasing people to fulfil their God-given destiny.
John has been married to Helen since 1988 and they have two wonderful grown-up children. He likes to relax by walking, doing DIY or just crashing on the sofa and watching a movie.
Helen Bradbury
She leads our Toddlertime, is the Family Support Worker at our Jeremiah Education Centre and longs to see children and families living a full and abundant life.
Helen has been married to John for over 35 years and has two amazing grown up children. She like to relax walking in the hills, eating great food and reading a good book.
Gail Scholes
As our pastoral lead, Gail is eager to see people recognise their true identity as children of God and to live this out in their daily lives. Gail leads our Befriending service, Renew centre and shares the role of Eden Team Leader.
She has been married to Andrew for over 30 years and they have three grown up children. To relax she enjoys eating with friends.
Chris Cox
Chris has worked as a design engineer for over 20 years and currently works designing buses. Chris has been a Christian since 1980 and a member of the church since 1996. Over the years Chris has been involved in children’s work and is a gifted preacher.
He oversees our small groups and is passionate about seeing people connect relationally and grow as they share the discipleship journey together.
Chris has been married to Sue since 1995 and they have two grown up sons. Chris likes cycling, swimming and has taken up competing in triathlons.
John Middlebrough
John is a retired engineer having worked for the same organisation for almost 50 years. He has been a member of the church since 1983 and has been part of the leadership team for over 30 years.
He is a passionate prayer warrior and a loyal and generous supporter of the church vision. He longs for others to take hold of the vision and live it out fully in every area of life.
John has been married to Philippa for over 40 years and they have two grown up children and four grandchildren. He likes to relax walking the dogs, taking holidays in the sun and enjoying a pint of real ale.
Alex Malone
Alex joined the church in 2011 after completing a BA in Theology at Cliff College. She became a Christian at the age of 18 with Ainsworth Methodist church and felt a strong call to ministry in Bolton. She is a Methodist Local Preacher, feels passionate about social justice and loves to help people begin and grow their discipleship journey.
Alex is married to Patrick and they have two wonderful daughters and are expecting their third child. Alex enjoys playing bass, getting out in nature and drinking good coffee.
Patrick Malone
Patrick teaches Religious Education at secondary school since 2012. Previous to this he gained a BA in Theology at Cliff College after completing a gap year at The Oakes Christian activity centre, where he helped run camps for children, leading bible studies and outdoor activities.
He is passionate about building lasting relationships with young people and enabling them to unlock their potential. He is a gifted worship leader and plays flute and keyboard.
Patrick is married to Alex and is dad to two amazing daughters. He loves all forms of sport, regularly plays Irish folk music gigs with his talented family and loves escaping to Middle Earth in his down time.
